Job Description

This client is a dynamic and growing merchant bank focused on the TMT space in NYC. The firm is looking to bring on an Investment Banking Analyst with at least 1.5 years of professional experience. They provide innovative advisory and financing solutions for high-growth companies in the TMT space. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support deal execution and new client opportunities.
• Prepare presentations, memoranda, and pitch materials for client meetings and investor presentations.
• Perform industry research and develop insights into TMT market trends, company performance, and competitive dynamics.
• Work collaboratively with senior bankers, clients, and other stakeholders to manage transactions from inception to closing.
• Assist in due diligence and execution processes, including preparing and analyzing due diligence materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in investment banking
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present insights to clients and senior team members.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
