Key Responsibilities: Work closely with IT teams, including Information Security, Service Desk, Quality Assurance, Production Support, and vendors, to maintain a stable, high-performing infrastructure. Ownership of ASRS’ infrastructure, including planning, deployment, and operational maintenance. Perform proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex infrastructure and application issues. Enhance team efficiencies through DevOps/automation practices. Administration and management of: Multi-tiered COTS applications. Physical and virtual servers, mid-tier storage arrays, SAN. Public-cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Active Directory and Group Policy. Secure remote access and VDI solutions. Security appliances. Conduct IT Service Management functions: Create tickets, field incident escalations, and document resolutions. Maintain accurate operational documentation and identify/remediate security vulnerabilities. Additional Information: This position is primarily remote, but the candidate must report onsite as needed, particularly for the first three days of employment. A 7-year background check is required. RequirementsQualifications: Must Have: Education: BS in Computer/Information Systems or 5+ years as a server/network administrator in a medium-to-large enterprise. Certifications: Relevant certifications (AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc.). Technical Expertise: Multi-tiered application architecture. Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems. Linux Server operating systems. Multi-tiered COTS applications. Active Directory and Group Policy. Public-cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Secure remote access and VDI solutions. Physical/virtual servers, SAN, and mid-tier storage arrays. Scripting/automation using PowerShell or similar tools. Experience: 24x7 mission-critical enterprise environments (public cloud and on-premises). IT Service Management processes: Incident, Problem, Configuration, and Change Management. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Nice to Have: Familiarity with the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP), DOORS, or LPA DBE System. Hands-on experience with security appliance administration and vulnerability remediation. Expertise in promoting team efficiencies through DevOps/automation practices.
