Job Title: Technical Writer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and maintain user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help content.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to gather, understand, and convey complex technical information.
• Conduct peer reviews and usability testing on documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Create diagrams, flowcharts, and infographics to support technical content and improve user experience.
• Develop and maintain style guides and templates to ensure uniformity and quality in all documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, tracking progress and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop training materials, including presentations and tutorials, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve documentation and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software development processes; familiarity with APIs, web technologies, and system architecture is a plus.
• Proficiency in tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, and graphics software (e.g., Visio, Adobe Illustrator).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to produce clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
